Here is the same photo edited in Photoshop earlier, edited in Adobe Camera RAW. It's NOT a great photo, but it's so. much. better.

Contrarily, instead of making the clarity sharp, I softened it-it took the weird pixelations out of the picture. Obviously, now it's not clear, but I think it looks more natural than it did the other way. And the color...so much more natural! yay! I can't say enough about how exciting it is to learn all these nifty tricks. I feel so edumacated! :-)

Okay, to me that doesn't look natural, it looks blue. And cold.

Considering she's wearing purple, and the background is cream colored..is that better?
Apparently, I need this program called 'neat image' for these seriously underexposed pictures. And another program to calibrate my monitor. Maybe I'll print it out and see just how off it is.
