Photo Editing

So, I've signed myself up for two classes at Jessica Sprague--one, Digi in Deep that I've been so excited about, and the other is Photo Editing: Good-to-great workflow. I'm doing lesson one on both, and I looooove them! I've already learned so much, including I always do things the hard way (aka the not quite right way!lol)
After doing the photo editing, I picked a photo that I really like, but is SERIOUSLY dark. This is the starting point:
I couldn't get her to let me take pictures with the flash, she would cover her eyes and not look at me. So I took them without a flash, knowing they wouldn't be great, but wanting some of her playing around on the piano. This is what I ended up with:
The photo is still not the best, but sooooo much better. This isn't in Adobe Camera Raw, I will try that tomorrow and see if that turns out better.
