I was reading other blogs, and looked at a tutorial for textures on Summer Driggs blog, in which she added texture to a photo and then erased it where she didn't want it. LIGHTBULB MOMENT!!! The other day when I used a texture on a photo of Eliza to cover up the background, I didn't like that it made her darker as well. So I went back and erased the texture over her and plopped it in the layout. Posted it below, in the original post, 'On a roll'.
I don't know what I'd do without all these people to hold my hand and teach me things! Just keep using short words and talk slowly. I'll get it. Eventually.
