I can't believe my laptop up and DIED! It's my lifeline, my repository for all my creative things, and my digital companion. Everything I've ever created digitally is on that computer. *sigh* I have to find a nerd to pull all the data off and transfer it to my external hard drive, and then cross my fingers that it can be reformatted.
I don't want a new computer, I like my Windows XP pro, with all the little bells and whistles. I like my PS CS2, which I am sure requires multiple downloads to make it Vista compatible. I don't want to downgrade to PS Elements, or upgrade to CS3 (although CS3 does make me drool!!!)
Fortunately, we have a plethora of computers here so I am not without mah fraends. :-)
And a minor complaint-just when things seem to be in hand financially-something like this always happens! @@ I feel like hard luck Harry or something.
