Gustav

Well, fortunately, Gustav wasn't 'as bad' as feared, although he did do a lot of damage. He's still a big system, and dumping rain in my hood yesterday and today. It's kind of amazing to think about, considering I am so far inland, that he could affect us so much! It's been steady, sometimes very heavy rain, but no wind or storms to go along with yet. Yesterday we had to drive to Rolla, and on the way home we saw a lot of waterfalls on the cuts in the rocks along the interstate. That was pretty cool, but also an indication of just how Gustav is dumping on us.

My friend Jeanne sent me a link to some new cool digi scrapping stuff, and it motivated me to find someone to fix my laptop so I can plaaaaaayyy! :-)
